They sit in their seats and stand in their standing places. Their eyes: blue and green and almond, fixed on the concrete below them like they were observing tropical fish in an exotic aquarium. Perhaps it’s fascinating down the

Using Live Plants In Your Tropical Fish Aquarium

Before you bring a new plant into the fish tank , rinse them thoroughly in warm

Tropical Fish Aquarium Composition of Water

Each molecule of water is composed of one atom of oxygen to every two atoms of hydrogen. This is expressed chemically as H2O. Fishes use oxygen, but they cannot use the oxygen that is chemically a part of water. But air, including oxygen, will dissolve in water - just as sugar or salt will - and it is this dissolved oxygen that fishes use. The major source of usable oxygen in an aquarium is the air above the water

What is a pump, a filter, an aerator for a tropical Fish Tank?

A pump is a mechanical apparatus which forces water or air through tubing or other equipment. It provides the flow that makes the filter and aerator operate.Filters (except under gravel filters) are units containing (or being made of) a porous filter material such as activated charcoal or filter floss. There are a number of different filter types available, but the principle is basically the same in all except under gravel filters. Water from the aquarium is passed through the filter material an
